The MMC-1 is the next step in the Emotiva family of high performance processors. The MMC-1 incorporates the same basic system architecture and most of the features of our flagship DMC-1. We packaged it to allow us to bring you top of the line performance and features at a down to earth price point.

Utilizing Motorola's top of the line DSP, you can expect dramatic improvements in all areas of sound reproduction. While watching movies, you will be immersed in sound... amazing clarity and instrument/effects separation. Precision steering logic like you’ve never heard coupled with a simply natural and emotionally engaging sound; the MMC-1 invites you to hear what surround sound is supposed to sound like.

True 2-channel analog bypass will please the most discerning audiophile. The MMC-1 also features 8-channel pure analog inputs for SACD and DVD-A sources. Dolby Pro Logic IIx is included for turning your 2-channel sources into 5.1/6.1/7.1. Also provided are two Side-Axis channels.

Did we tell you about Side-Axis? These two additional channels are matrixed and derived from the front left and right channels so they are available in stereo as well as surround modes. You place the speakers between your main and surround speakers along the side walls. When engaged, the side axis feature delivers an amazingly large soundstage that you must hear to believe.

Additional features include video up conversion; this allows you to run all your composite, S-Video and component sources to the MMC-1 and output all on a single component video cable. The MMC-1 has three 100Mhz component inputs and the OSD (on-screen display) is available over component too. You also get three additional single-ended (RCA) subwoofer outputs in addition to a balanced subwoofer output, a MM phono input and Analog Devices 24/192 DAC's.

For those that want to install outdoor speakers or a two channel system in another room, the MMC-1 will allow you to play two independent sources simultaneously. The front panel display allows you to re-name all the inputs (such as changing ‘Vid 1’ to XBOX) so source selection is easy. The MMC-1 comes complete with a beautiful custom milled aluminum remote control that allows for easy and intuitive operation of the MMC-1.

The Emotiva MMC-1 has in internal HDMI switcher included at no extra charge! This l switcher will seamlessly integrate HDMI sources with your MMC-1 processor. It features two HDMI inputs and one HDMI output. Press SAT and the switcher automatically changes to to input HDMI #1. Press DVD and the switcher goes to HDMI input #2. This eases control of your system by eliminating the need to switch the video input on your TV as well as the audio input on your processor. One button press and you are done! It supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 720i, and 1080i, 1080p resolutions and can drive cables lengths up to 50 feet.

Behind performance, but still very important are the cosmetics. The MMC-1 features a massive milled aluminum faceplate with silver accent details and indirect cobalt blue panel illumination, with a multi-stage dimmer. Milled aluminum rack ears are included for professional installations (the MMC-1 is in a 3RU chassis). The MMC-1 runs cool so you can stack it directly on top of the IPS-1 amplifier if you like. Multiple triggers are supplied to turn on/off your amp as well as for motorized screens, projectors, etc. The MMC-1 is voltage switchable.
