The big brother of the UAC-6.2, the UAC-8.2 takes low frequency performance and overall output to a higher level. The UAC-8.2 is optimized for in ceiling placement. The powerful 8" woofer features a butyl surround with a blended polypropylene cone carefully developed for in ceiling placement. This high output mid/woofer is coupled with our 1" silk dome tweeter and a pivoting mount, producce an extremely powerful, dynamic, and well balanced soundstage. Dispersion and imaging can be optimized for speaker placement, by changing the angle of the tweeter towards the main listening area. Up to 30 degrees of adjustment may be applied in any direction. We've also included switchable tweeter attenuator located on the face of the speaker, behind the grill that can provide a -3dB level trim for additional flexibility when optimizing the speaker to the acoustics of the room.
